Friday evening from 5:30pm we have Kelly and Daryl from "Count Me In" live on the back deck.

Kelly Makiha and Daryl Cogger are a popular Rotorua acoustic duo consisting of Kelly on lead vocals and acoustic guitar and Daryl on vocals and keyboard.

They make up half of the city's top corporate band, Count Me In, which has been playing music in and around the Rotorua region for more than 13 years.

The duo, which regularly plays at corporate functions and has drawn crowds at bars within the Novotel and Millennium hotels in Rotorua, is playing at Abracadabra Friday night from 5.30pm.

Their music includes well-known covers from different genres including pop, jazz, blues, rock and roll, soft rock, country and Kiwi music.

Daryl Cogger, by day the manager of Rotorua musical instrument store The Rockshop, has led Count Me In for nearly two decades and is an accomplished and sought after keyboard player.

Kelly Makiha, the chief reporter at The Daily Post by day, hails from the South Island and is a previous winner of New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards
and was the New Zealand Entertainer of the Year at the 1997 Trans-Tasman Awards in Norfolk Island.

Abracadabra is a Rotorua Cafe and Bar. It has a Moroccan theme throughout and it seems like you are leaving New Zealand when you come in the door. The food is fantastic, the staff are great and the atmosphere is simply amazing. Don't just take our word for it though, Abracadabra recently featured on the TV3 hidden camera show, Target. Abracadabra received a 10/10 for service, quality of food, value for money and cleanliness. Come in today and see the best Rotorua Cafe.
